2024 and Onwards
Key Highlights For 2024 And Onwards:
FAMS: We introduced a “smart account manager” for enhanced margin management. This system interacts with protocol contracts, enabling conditional orders and, additionally, quality-of-life features such as automated conversion to zUSD via DEX and alternative forms of collateral.
Conditional Orders (e.g. Stop-Loss / Limit): Recognizing the essential nature of conditional orders such as stop-loss and limit orders in futures trading, we prioritized their integration to ensure responsible and secure futures trading. After the successful testing, we launched Futures Trading on Mainnet along with these essential features.
Seamless Swaps: Thanks to the integration of 1inch, users can now directly exchange HZN, zUSD, and zBNB through Horizon Protocol’s UI. To take this one step further, we’re advancing to allow deposit of any stablecoin into your margin account, automatically converting it to zUSD for use on Horizon Futures in just one transaction.
Expand Onramps: To further enhance the onramp experience, we will introduce collateralized Loans/shorts and zAsset wrappers to offer new DeFi onramps to zAssets, simplifying the process and increasing overall liquidity. Users will be able to convert assets like BNB to zBNB without the need to first buy HZN.
AI Trading: Pioneering AI-featured trading in the decentralized space, we’re excited to partner with AlphaNet by Phoenix Global, setting a new standard for AI trading in the market.
Social programs: We are also looking into various social programs, one of which is a referral program. This would allow advocates to earn passive income from referrals, contributing to the growth of the protocol.
Social trading: Another feature that is being explored, and which is already being water tested on the testnet and trading competition, is social trading, including leaderboards.
Please note that the features listed for 2024 and beyond are our top priorities, chosen based on feedback from our recent community call. This list may evolve as we gather more community feedback, align with market needs, and respond to evolving product demands.

UX-Driven Derivatives Powerhouse
Our primary mission centers around providing the community with a derivative powerhouse with UI simplicity, ensuring everyone has the best user-experience that’s available on the market. This involves expanding derivative options such as futures/spot trading, staking, borrowing, hedging, diversifying portfolios, or introducing one-click arbitrage. The platform acts as a gateway, enabling users to access the real-world economy through secure and efficient synthetic assets. Additionally, we aim to enhance HZN accessibility through 2 centralized exchanges (CEX) listings for 2024 and fiat on/off ramps to ensure a smoother onboarding experience for users.
Competitive Perpetual DEX with Cutting-Edge Features
We are dedicated to constructing a top-tier, competitive decentralized perpetual futures exchange. Beyond offering deep liquidity with self-custody and low fees, we aspire to introduce cutting-edge features such as AI trading, details of which can be found in the product section.
Futures Exchange as Primary Revenue Source
A pivotal aspect of our strategy involves positioning our Futures exchange as the primary revenue source for the protocol and stakers. This approach not only sustains the protocol but also stimulates growth within our ecosystem.
