Articulation with the Horizon Rangers Program
As leaders of the Horizon Protocol Community, the Horizon Rangers will have priority access to grants in their mission to promote Horizon Protocol in various regions, fostering local engagement and awareness.
Application Process:
1. Interested community members can fill this form in order to submit grant proposals outlining their initiatives, including detailed plans, budgets, and expected outcomes. Community Managers will be available at all times for guidance and support in the process.
2. The team will evaluate the proposals based on criteria such as impact, feasibility, and alignment with project goals, and suggest improvements if needed. 3. Grants proposals that successfully complete step 2, will be presented to the community for feedback.
4. Approved grants will receive funding based on the proposed budgets, with periodic reviews to ensure milestones are met.
Reporting and Accountability:
Grant recipients are required to provide updates and reports on the progress of their initiatives. This transparency ensures accountability and allows the community to track the impact of funded initiatives.
Timeline:
The Horizon Protocol Community Grant Program will be tested during 2024, with an initial budget allocation of $2,000 to be divided among, at least, 5 different initiatives.
Evaluation:
At the end of the test phase, the grant program will be evaluated based on the impact of funded initiatives. Feedback from the community and the team will be used to refine and improve the program for subsequent phases.
By implementing the Horizon Protocol Community Grant Program, we aim to empower our community to actively contribute to the growth and success of the project. Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant Horizon Protocol ecosystem.
